I have decided to close this blog after realizing that I avoid it like the plague because of the pain my words bring. In doing so, I have created a new story, one that will be set in a more positive light, with the intent to heal. I am not saying that I will be suppressing my feelings, but that I am going to control my feelings, rather than allowing them to control me-after all, they have run amok with me for as far as I can remember. There is a new captain sailing this ship!

- So glad to have you! I'm called Jamie, apparently named for my father James, but was often told that it was named after Jamie Sommers, the "bionic woman". I have recently moved into what I consider to be middle age & the most important thing about me at this point in life is that I have discovered that I am mostly a wandering, mildly damaged soul that is in a desperate search for wellness, adventure & some sort of my own "bionic-ness". Holla if ya hear me! For 16 years, I have been a faithful wife, mother, friend, nurse, daughter, & backbone. And while I recieve a great deal of joy & happiness from it all, what I do not know is who I truly am beyond those things. I have hit a spot where it is high time I figure it out.
